Christmas Eve
This was our 1st year ever spending Christmas away from "home"! Which was always Mom and Dad's house! I was having a really hard time with this because our Christmas Eve tradition with Mom and Dad always allowed us to do our own thing later that night and all Christmas Day, but was always fun to get together and see Santa usually and to see all the other cousins and their excitement for Santa!
Well we shared all these feelings just with ourselves....all alone! Yes I'm sulking and having a pitty party for myself!
In the past Santa always came and left Jammies at our house while we were eating dinner at Mom and Dad's well since we didnt have that this year I climbed out our bedroom window and put them in a bag on the porch and just waited for the kids to keep checking the porch since Santa was super busy this year to stop inside the house he would have to just drop them on the porch! These pics are when they finally discovered he had come and they had opened what he had brought us!
Peyton was telling Jason that he could see the tail lights on Santa's sleigh, so Jason was trying his best to see what Peyton was seeing!
Jason reading off all the names on the packages that came in Santa's special bag!
All of us in our new PJ's minus mom and dad's shirts! Santa knew we didn't need anymore shirts! He's so smart!
The tree before we went to bed and put the rest of the night in Santa's hands!
Wow! Santa came before we could make it to bed....weird!
Christmas Morning/Day!
We've kind of made it a tradition that on Christmas morning before the kids can come downstairs and open any presents that they have to wait at the top of the stairs and have a picture taken! Its been super fun to do! I don't know what we will do if we don't ever have stairs though.....I guess we will cross that bridge when we get to it! In the meantime enjoy our Christmas Day with us!
Samie, Dylan and Peyton...patiently waiting to get the go ahead!!
Woah! What? Santa gave these naughty kids Nintendo DS'?
Wow he must not have gotten my last minute phone call cancelling all gifts for these 2 spoiled brats! They better make up for it!
Dylan and his overwhelmingly huge present! He was so excited that I really didn't have a choice but to post like 10 pictures just of him and his gift! So bear with me and just look for all the small details in each photo that make them all a little different, but yet ADORABLE!!!!!
WOW.....Mickey Mouse!
He's trying his hardest to hide his excitement until........
NOW!!!
Seriously the best reaction ever from any of our kids over any present.......EVER!!!!!!
He was trying to get the full effect of being in an airplane and actually flying by flinging his arms all around and in circles! It was hilarious and so exciting!
By the way "Grandma Claus" this was the perfect pick over the dump truck one! He watches Mickey Mouse Club House and will sit on this and turn it on and dance all while he watches it on TV!
Trying to make the amount of money even between Samie and Peyton was really tough! He looks like he got tons more since Sam got 1 big item! He loves it all! A construction Lego set with fire trucks, police cars, boats, four wheelers, construction tractors, and everything else you could think of! It took Jason um........like 7 hours to put together! Yes 7!!
Samie and her new desk and chair (chair courtesy of Grandma and Grandpa Wood) and desk courtesy of Boise Craigslist, Rae and her ability to pick it up and pay for it and get pulled over on the way to getting it and storing it! Wow she's a great friend....yes I know! My parents for transporting it from Boise to Twin and Jill and Steve for allowing us to store it in their basement til I could work on it! Thanks to everyone who made this desk and chair possible!
SHE LOVES IT!
She got a Razor Scooter from Grandma and Grandpa and she and Peyton rode them all around the house for days until it was finally nice enough for them to take em outside and then they could never be rode inside again....oh darn!
Me and Jason's presents! The highlight gifts were for Jason, the Hot Dogger for the snowmobile, Snowmobile video (from his bff Paul) and his BSU Coat! For me, my purse (duh), BSU sweatshirt, New Sheets (I love new sheets), Hot cocoa (cause I love hot cocoa in new sheets while watching Paul's snowmobile video he gave Jas), my workout clothes from Rae (cause we all know the better looking your gear is the better worker outer you must be....right)! My "HOME" sign that was from my sis and her family is so awesome! I wanna know how to make them so maybe our ward could actually do something cool for Super Saturday!
We didn't have any problems getting Dylan to sit on the airplane, but to sit steal long enough for a picture without moving some part of his body! He was diving head first into all of his piles of toys! He loved Christmas!!!
We had a fantastic Christmas and are so blessed to have all the Family and Friends that we do! We love you all and wish you all the best New Years!
Thank you for all the yummy goodies that have been horrible for my diet and for all the wonderful and thoughtful gifts!
